Hey, I’m Bryan
Founder of BMurph Productions
My reward as a visual storyteller is that I get to use my gift to enable remarkable humans to share theirs. I have had the opportunity to use my talents in a variety of different ways up until this point in my life. Ultimately, the most important goal for me is to work with people and businesses that share my values to ensure that all products delivered are created from a genuinely passionate place. Here is a short bio about how I got to where I am today to shine a light on this mindset.
After a high school sports injury and no more physical outlets, my passion for photography was ignited. Skeptical that a photography degree would pay off, I chose to study graphic design instead for 3 years before pursuing a BFA in Photography at James Madison University. You could say my journey has been one of creative evolution. Studying abroad in Prague broadened my artistic horizons, while interning at the Wolf Trap Foundation immersed me in a dream of the performing arts photographing artists like Tony Bennet, Paul Simon, Buddy Guy, Dolly Parton, Jeff Beck and many more. Following graduation, I embarked on a transformative adventure, serving as the Visual Production Manager for the NGO Conservation Music across 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, utilizing music for environmental education. Returning to the States, I collaborated with the band Goose, crafting a documentary series over 3.5 years, documenting their rise from local acclaim to international success. My story is one of seizing opportunities, blending artistry with purpose, and capturing moments that resonate deeply. Today my goal is simple: utilize all the knowledge and experiences I’ve gained to propel your business or mission forward.
